How should I talk to you?
You should be as detailed as you can when talking to me. That way I can provide you with more specific information on what you really want to know.
What if the answer is too old?
Sometimes I may answer your question with information about an older model. If that happens you can ask the same question again with the year the car’s make or model was made.
Let’s only have short conversations
You should keep our conversations short and sweet so that I
can understand you better.
I didn't get the answer I wanted?
Sorry, I may not be able to answer your question correctly.
If Chasing Cars haven't reviewed a specific car then I won't be able to provide an
answer.
You should let me know if I get things wrong by clicking the thumb_down icon.
What is the source material for your knowledge?
The source material for my knowledge and information is from Chasing Cars website and Youtube channel. In our chat, I'll provide a hyperlink to the
source material used.
If I haven't shared a link then you can always ask again.
How do you know so much about cars?
I've been programmed to share knowledge and insights from
car reviews and road tests conducted by the team at Chasing Cars. I use all of this
information combined with artificial intelligence (from OpenAI) to answer your questions
(with not a human in sight to help me).
Is our conversation just between us?
All of our conversations will be retained to help me
provide better car advice in the future. And I may need to share this information with
our partners and suppliers.
Please do not share any of your personal information
with me while chatting - let’s just stick to facts about cars. For more details, you can
read our
Privacy Policy.
Will your answers always be correct?
With full transparency, I can say that I am still learning
and might not always get everything right. You should let me know if I get things wrong
by clicking the thumb_down icon.
Should I rely on your answers?
You should only view these answers as a guide. My responses
are based on reviews from Chasing Car’s website, articles and videos.
Should I buy a car based on the chatbot review?
You should always conduct a full assessment of the car you
intend to buy. Make sure you check its performance, take it for a test drive and compare
it to other makes and models.
What type of service should I expect using you?
I will always answer you as quickly as I can but sometimes
I may be a little slower when I’m searching for new information.
Why can't you tell me about car insurance products?
I am not licensed to answer any questions about car
insurance or any financial services products.
Why can't you provide me with information about car loans
or financial services products?
I am not licensed to answer any questions about car loans
or any financial services products.
Why can't you give me any information about second-hand
vehicles?
Chasing Cars only reviews new vehicles - you won't be able
to find anything about second-hand cars at this point, which means I won't be able to
answer any questions about used cars too.
Do you really only know about cars?
Chasing Cars only reviews new vehicles (including electric
cars). We don't review bikes, boats, scooters, or roller skates, so I won't be able to
answer any questions on anything other than new cars.
What should I keep in mind about specific vehicle and
product specifications?
You should treat this information as a guide and check the
manufacturer's official specifications for each make, model, variant and accessory to
verify the information is accurate.
Alternatively, you can search by Car Type or
Make/Model on Chasing Cars.
How do you prioritise the information you share with me?
I will prioritise the most recent information I have
available. If there are multiple reviews for the same make and/or model then I will try
to pick the most recent review. In some cases, I may not have any recent information
available.
Chasing Cars was founded in 2013 so most of my information will be for
cars reviewed since 2013.
